Movie Review: Green Lantern

 'Green Lantern'
Directed by Martin Campbell
Script by Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Mark Guggenheim
Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong,
Angela Bassett, Peter Sarsgaard
Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures
Based on the DC Comics character created by John Broome and Gil Kane

Just came back from the cinemas yesterday watching this first ever GL live-action film, and before I go on to give you of what I thought of the film, let me tell you first that I was pretty discouraged to watch the film because of the overwhelming negative reviews from film critics and fans all over the world.

But I'm glad that didn't succumb to that and still decided to watch the film, because despite what the critics say and the bad stuff that injured the movie - Green Lantern was still definitely a fun film (if you will just let it entertain you).

Not as good as the recent Thor, (the first) Spider-Man, or Iron Man, but it was better than the two Fantastic Four films, and even Spider-Man 3.

In Brightest Day... In Blackest Night... Behold The New "Green Lantern" Trailer's Might!

How many trailers have we seen for this movie? 5? 10?

But let me tell you guys, this one is the BEST OF ALL OF THEM.

Warner Bros. has released their newest 3D GL trailer and features never-before-seen clips and a narrated history of the Green Lantern Corps courtesy of Geoffrey Rush. Now non-comic book fans would finally have some enlightenment.

Prepare to be blown away.

"Green Lantern" opens on June 17 starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Angela Bassett, Tim Robbins, Temuera Morrison, and Taika Waititi. Directed by Martin Campbell.

Kilowog and Sinestro Beat Hal Jordan's Ass In Latest 'Green Lantern' Trailer

Just like the title says. And more footages featuring the Guardians of Oa, Doctor Hammond, Parallax, the Green Lantern Corps, and Carol Ferris (Blake Lively).

Though I'm pretty impressed with the trailer and some of the CGI scenes, I still don't dig Hal Jordan' mask. It really looks weird to me for some reason. Anybody who feels the same?

'Green Lantern' is directed by Martin Campbell and stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Angela Bassett, Mark Strong, and the voices of Michael Clarke Duncan and Geoffrey Rush. Scheduled for a June 17 release.
