Would you believe me if I told you that a 12 minute-$300-film is waaayy more entertaining than the premiere episode of The Cape or one of those crappy 45 minute episodes from Smallville?
Enter LST - as in Lazy Teenage Superheroes. A short film directed by Michael Ashton that chronicles the story of 5 teen metahumans (well four actually..) who are more interested in porn, getting drunk and stoned than to save the world. See them battle a big giant ant robot, and two more metahumans with all the profanity and cool special effects that even tops a big-budgeted superhero TV episode. No kidding, its that good.
This is probably the best way to spend your twelve minutes, so click away and watch after the jump:
Big thanks to ComicsAlliance and Topless Robot for putting my ass on my chair for 12 solid minutes.
